Mr. Balapitiya started his career as a professional accountant in 1994 and since then worked in Australia, Sri Lanka and Maldives. Having worked with Big4 accounting during early part of his career, he had led statutory audits of large conglomerates. He started his own practice in 1997 and since then Mr. Balapitiya has been advising a large number individual and business clients on tax matters, GST compliance, business registration and mortgage consulting. Mr. Balapitiya is a tax agent registered with ATO and a member of Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) of Australia. He also has a Master Degree in Business in Professional Accounting from the Victoria University of Technology, Australia and a degree in B,Sc. Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka.

Jude has more than 20 years’ experience in practice and several Industries extending to Agriculture, Manufacturing, Trading and Real Estate. Jude’s skills and specialization in Accounting, Financial Statements, Managerial Finance, Business Taxation and Financial Modelling. After Starting the career in practice Jude had many senior finance positions in Australia and Africa. Jude worked as a Finance Director at Golden Lay Ltd (Owned by African Agricultural Fund) before relocating Australia. Jude is engaged in providing the management and financial accounting services to the Wizard Accounting’s clients and he further provides business taxation and tax planning services to them..
